At South Haven we believe that we must do more than just add to the church, we must multiply!
The important distinction with Christian discipleship is that we are not only called to learn the difficult teachings of Jesus Christ, we are also called to live them. Discipleship is a journey, it doesn’t happen overnight. Therefore, our “JOURNEY” discipleship classes are designed to sharpen you and conform you more into the image of Christ. Most of our classes are designed for six to eight weeks of training. The Letters of 1, 2 & 3 John were written to encourage followers of Jesus to remain faithful to the truth. Believers are challenged to look at contrasting themes such as walking in the light instead of darkness, truth versus lies and deception, loving God more than loving the world, and the meaning of true fellowship and community rather than shallowness. This 7-session study by Kelly Minter not only reveals the heart of John but also the heart of Jesus. This study includes recipes and a relational approach.
