Women On Mission are women committed to the mission of reaching the world for Jesus.
Five purposes of Women On Mission are:
Pray for and give to missions.
 Do missions.
 Learn about missions.
Develop spiritually toward a mission’s lifestyle.
Participate in the work of the church & denomination.
Watchword: Colossians 1:10
“That you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being faithful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.”
Our church has two groups of Women On Mission. One meets during the daytime, the second Tuesday of each month, at the church, at 1:00 p.m. The other meets in the evening, the fourth Tuesday, of every month, at 7:00 p.m. in one of the ladies homes.
We meet together to study & learn about Southern Baptist Missionaries, where they serve & in what capacity, and what there prayer needs are. We pray for those missionaries & for those who are having birthdays that day. We also are involved in different mission action projects, such as serving food in a local shelter, collecting needed items for the Baptist children’s home in Peculiar, buying & sending bibles to various places, some in different languages, sending gift boxes to children at Christmas time, and much more. Please join us to study and pray, with other women, and enjoy the fellowship.
If you have any questions, please contact Teresa Whitehead or Norma Nelson
