Equipping men to be godly men
The men’s ministry at South Haven is a ministry centered on the love and grace of Jesus Christ; committed to equipping men with the tools and understanding they need to be the men that God intends them to be.
God calls men to be leaders and to be obedient. Yielding to God’s will through obedience can be very difficult at times. The men’s ministry is striving to build a strong group of believers that can give men the support and encouragement they need to stand up to the pressures of today’s world and be obedient to God.
In keeping with our mission statement, “Equipping men to be godly men,” we utilize several different types of activities to reach out to the men of South Haven and the community. Here is a list of some of those activities you will find going on throughout the year.
Activities:
  Bible studies focused specifically for men
Saturday men’s fellowship breakfasts
Yearly men’s retreat
Friday morning 6:01 Bible studies
Third Friday evening basketball
Work ministries that help those in need in the community and the church
Guest speakers
Special conferences focused on equipping men
Fellowship get to gathers: golf, watching football games, fishing,
and men’s cookout feast
Personal computer help ministry
